Exclusive business development program in the US
NGAL (Network Globally, Act Locally) is an intensive hands-on business development programme for early-stage startups. The programme starts with the boot camp in Tartu, continues in Tallinn and ends with a launch-camp in Charleston, USA. At the final day, teams pitch to judges and the best teams will be awarded.
NGAL is an ambitious, high-impact business development programme linking five universities across countries and cultures through student-centred entrepreneurship. It is an intense, impactful, summer immersion and travel abroad programme for students who are start-up founders and who wish to plan to take their company to scale.
In 2019 NGAL takes place from June 2 to June 14. From Tallinn University of Technology, 4 students representing 2 teams will be selected. Application deadline is April 5th.

The programme consists of an intense 12-day accelerator experience that works to take student companies to launch the minimum viable product (MVP) using the lean startup process and the agile/scrum methodology.
The programme enables you to develop your business idea and MVP together with student teams from two Estonian and three US universities: University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology, College of Charleston, The Citadel (Military College of South Carolina) and Nebraska Wesleyan University. The project is partly financed by Harry and Reba Huge Foundation. The whole program is valued up to USD 100,000! Moreover, each participant has all the costs covered (“all included” - food, accommodation, flights).
Last year's winner was a team from Tallinn University of Technology, Timey. “NGAL program is such a great opportunity to get guidance and feedback from experienced mentors and improve your business model”, says the leader of Timey, Martin Möllits.
